    Abstract: A continuous polyvinyl chloride cartridge is insertable in a handrail groove, or adhered to it. A series of inserts bearing braille messages are insertable into, and are captured by, a groove in the cartridge. The cartridge is configured to have edges that are continuous with the braille inserts. The braille inserts have front and rear tapered surfaces to smoothly meet the back wall of the cartridge groove.
