Publication number: 20240173696Abstract: The present disclosure is to functionalised polyamine hydrogels that can be used for capturing one or more acidic gases from gaseous streams and atmospheres. In particular, the present disclosure is directed to hydrogels comprising a cross-linked polyamine or copolymer thereof, wherein the cross-linked polyamine comprises one or more amine groups substituted with an optionally substituted alkanol group. Methods and apparatuses for removing acidic gases from gaseous streams or atmospheres using the functionalised hydrogels are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2022Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventors: Colin WOOD, Matthew MYERS, Cameron WHITE

Publication number: 20240079085Abstract: A high density correlation system can train a machine-learned model to determine one or more phenotypes of a cell and identify compounds corresponding to a user-queried phenotype. The high density correlation system can generate training data using single-cell images and train the machine-learned model using the generated training data. The machine-learned model can determine phenotypes of cells based on images of the cells. The high density correlation system can generate a database that includes phenotype-compound mappings generated based on the outputs of the machine-learned model. After receiving a query that identifies a phenotype, the high density correlation system can generate a result set of the query using the database for display at a graphical user interface (GUI). The result set can identify compounds corresponding to the identified phenotype. Additionally, the displayed compounds can be ordered based on a score for each compound.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2022Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Charles Reid Marsh, Lauren Nicolaisen, Colin Fuller, Brandon White, Benyamin Komalo

Publication number: 20230249433Abstract: A tube for winding a web of fabric or similar material may include an inner tube formed by a plurality of inner layers and an outermost layer helically wound around the inner tube and having a plurality of raised gripping portions extending radially outward from a tube outer surface by a raised gripping portion distance. A raised protective strip may be formed at the outermost layer and wrap around the outermost layer so that at least a portion of the raised gripping portions are exposed to an exterior of the tube. The raised protective strip may extend radially outward from the tube outer surface by a protective strip distance.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2022Publication date: August 10, 2023Applicant: Sonoco Development, Inc.Inventors: Neil Roland Davis, Justin Rosz, Colin White, Gerald Lee Lane, JR., Thomas S. Patent number: 6907795Abstract: A seat position sensor including a generally u-shaped housing and a cover disposed on the housing for blocking entry contaminants into a shunt opening of the housing. A sensor including mounting wings that flex upon mounting is also provided, as is a sensor including an integral connector, and a two-piece sensor configuration. A PCB including a heat throttle trace and a heat sink region, and a supply voltage circuit for a Hall Effect sensor including a parallel connected varistor are also provided.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2002Date of Patent: June 21, 2005Assignee: Stoneridge Control Devices, Inc.Inventors: Susan Barnabo, Colin White, Robert Southworth, Genn Baskin, Jerry Powers

Patent number: 6772902Abstract: A thin-walled child-proof container is formed entirely in one piece in a molding process. The container has a self-engaging child-proof safety closure between the container and its cover. The cover is attached to the container by a living hinge. A self-aligning tapered self-sealing lip is provided between the cover and the container. The child-proof safety closure comprises a hook retainer with a V-shaped bottom point or edge attached to the container and a flexible tab with a mating bottom V-shaped hook attached to the cover. The cover further comprises a visual indicator on an outer surface of the cover, adjacent to the tab. The visual indicator indicates a compression point to be contacted to compress the cover and the visual indicator further indicates a direction in which the tab must be moved to release the V-shaped hook of the tab from the V-shaped point of the hook retainer.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2003Date of Patent: August 10, 2004Inventor: Colin White
