The wound dressing includes at least one flexible film for application onto the wound bed, more particularly onto exposed internal organs or onto the greater omentum, and furthermore at least one pocket, which is present on the side of the wound dressing that faces away from the wound during use and which simplifies the uniform application and placement of the wound dressing on the wound bed.
