  • Patent number: 5131664
Abstract: A rotary pool table with sliding disc-type cue and player discs, constructed with a base having radial, widely spaced rollers for supporting the table bed for rotation and a tensioning rod assembly for controlling resistance to table rotation and table bed stability. The player discs have convex or concave surfaces that control disc speed, and the table pockets have removable trays mounted in slides. The top of the table bed has a visible line near the side rails that give the player relief from a tight cue disc lie along the rails.

  • Patent number: 4227638
Abstract: A stapler is disclosed having an anvil moveable from a clinching to a non-clinching position. In either selected position cooperating stops are provided to retain the anvil in position. To move from one position to the other a pivot arrangement is provided for the anvil support arm to pivot the same to the frame of the stapler. • Patent number: 4221153
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a corrugated fastener for joining two pieces of material in abutting relationship, the fastener having two spaced-apart corrugated loop sections and an intermediate curved tensionable section having a shape and size such that as the fastener is driven the curved tensionable section is substantially straightened and held under tension to draw the two pieces of material together. The disclosure also relates to an adhered strip of a plurality of such fasteners resembling a modified honeycomb configuration. The manner of collation of the adhered strip enhances the functional features of the disclosed fasteners.

  • Patent number: 4157778
Abstract: A binding system is disclosed for binding volumes comprising a cabinet having a trough herein for the receipt of an edge of a stack of sheets with power compressor means on one side of the trough for compressing the stack of sheets and power operated stapling means on the opposite side of the trough for driving staples through the major plane of said sheets adjacent said one edge while under compression. The cabinet also includes a second power operated stapler for binding smaller or thinner stacks of sheets to produce thinner volumes. An interlock provides that only one of the two power operated staplers may be used at a time. Provision is made for loading the larger of said power staplers through the top of the cabinet and a safety mechanism is provided to insure against ejection of staples from the magazine upward through the loading entryway.
