  • Patent number: 11986677
Abstract: In various embodiments, a radiation therapy method can include loading a planning image of a target in a human. In addition, the position of the target can be monitored. A computation can be made of an occurrence of substantial alignment between the position of the target and the target of the planning image. Furthermore, after the computing, a beam of radiation is triggered to deliver a dosage to the target in a short period of time (e.g., less than a second).

  • Publication number: 20230181642
Abstract: Disclosed are T-cells that are positive for CD49f and which have an enhanced function compared to CD49f? cells. Methods of isolation of CD49f+ T-cells, as well as compositions and kits thereof are also disclosed. Additionally, enriched CD49f+T-cell populations have an increased proliferative potential, long-term survival and significantly improved efficacy in an adoptive therapeutic setting. The CD49f+ T-cells and CD49f+ T-cell enriched T-cell populations are useful in a range of applications, including for use in treating or inhibiting the development of diseases with immune dysfunction and methods of assessing risk of disease and potential responsiveness in immunotherapy. CD 19 CAR-T cells derived from CD49f+ T-cells and their use in a method of treatment of cancer is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11422131
Abstract: A sensor for the detection of an analyte in a fluid includes an electrode having a detection surface, a polydopamine layer adhered to the electrode detection surface; and optionally a receptor chemically functionalized to the polydopamine of the detection surface of the electrode. • Patent number: 11162553
Abstract: Externally-damped electromechanical valve assemblies well-suited for deployment within high vibratory operating environments, such as those associated with work vehicle engines, are provided. In embodiments, the valve assembly includes a housing through which a flow passage extends, a valve element positioned in the flow passage, a valve actuator, and control electronics electrically coupled to the valve actuator. The valve assembly may also contain a constrained layer damper including a first mass element and a first viscoelastic layer. The first mass element is mounted in suspension to the housing exterior for movement relative thereto when the first mass element is excited by vibrations transmitted through the housing. Constrained between the first mass element and the housing exterior, the first viscoelastic layer deflects in shear as the first mass element moves relative to the housing to attenuate the vibrations transmitted through the housing by conversion of vibrational energy to heat.
