Publication number: 20190357833Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to correlation of physiological data from two or more sources in real-time. As data is gathered from one or more remote physiological sensors, evaluation of associated physiological data takes place in real-time. The sensor data is correlated with other forms of data including objective physiological data, subjective physiological data, cognitive data, and/or quantitative input for multi-variate data analytics to assess and correlate the data. Alerts are generated, applications are activated, and windows are created to support the correlation and associated communication.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2019Publication date: November 28, 2019Applicant: Anthrotronix, Inc.Inventors: Anna D. Publication number: 20170083157Abstract: Embodiments relate to a portable device that is configured to project an image onto a secondary surface, and to support interaction with the projected image. The device is configured with an embedded projector to display indicia on a secondary surface. More specifically, the projector is configured to project an interactive image onto a secondary surface. The device is employed to communicate and interact with one or more components displayed within the image. Data related to the interaction is acquired by the device and stored local to the device or communicated to a secondary device.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2016Publication date: March 23, 2017Applicant: Anthrotronix, Inc.Inventors: Jack M. Publication number: 20160110021Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a calibration device for interaction with a cognitive assessment device, employing the calibration device as a quality control device for interaction with the assessment device, and the calibration device in combination with the assessment device for every assessment. The calibration device includes at least two sensors for measurement of light and pressure. As the calibration device interfaces with the assessment device, or an alternative secondary device, both light intensity and capacitance are applied to test reaction time. Latencies associated with reaction time testing are detected, and thereafter are applied to assessment output.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2015Publication date: April 21, 2016Applicant: ANTHROTRONIX, INC.Inventors: Jack M. Publication number: 20150196242Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to cognitive performance and/or psychological assessment of a subject. Measurement of behavioral status and cognitive efficiency is based upon batteries of tests that include a combination of cognitive and/or psychological tests. A module is provided with a processing unit in communication with memory to administer the cognitive and/or psychological tests and to compute an assessment. Results of the assessment are conveyed on a visual display of the module. In some cases, additional sensor data may be added to the assessment.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2015Publication date: July 16, 2015Applicant: ANTHROTRONIX, INC.Inventors: Corinna E. Lathan, Jack M. Vice, Joseph Bleiberg, James F. Drane, Jonathan S. Farris, Charlotte Jean Smith Safos, James Spira

Patent number: 6895305Abstract: A robotic apparatus and system adapted to communicate with a wireless sensor. The apparatus may be either physical or virtual in nature and is adapted to communicate physical movements with a wireless sensor. Data received from the sensor and/or robotic apparatus may be reviewed in a real-time mode, or may be saved for review at a later time. In addition, the apparatus may be controlled through an operator that is in local or remote communication with the apparatus. The robotic system may include pre-programmed interactive platforms for enabling communication between a user and the apparatus in a dynamic mode. In addition, the system may allow an operator to program a game/story for use as an interactive platform. Accordingly, the apparatus and system provides a platform for rehabilitative exercise of a patient as well as an entertainment device.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2002Date of Patent: May 17, 2005Assignees: Anthrotronix, Inc., University of MarylandInventors: Corinna E. Patent number: 6511442Abstract: A novel system for augmenting human function using personal augmentation devices (PADs), controlled by physiological signals for the purpose of navigating and manipulating the external environment is provided. The system utilizes a variety of sensors connected to a data acquisition box (DAQ) to detect movement of a user. The DAQ, which is comprised of a microprocessor, will control the PAD according to the sensed user movement, thus mapping user input to user output. Controlling of the PAD provides important feedback to the user concerning manipulation of their external environment. In one embodiment, feedback concerning movement of the PAD is provided using a virtual reality system. This system allows people with severe disabilities to remotely interact with their environment using a PAD, thereby unlocking cognitive abilities, promoting curiosity, and providing sense of entitlement to explore, as well as allowing development to continue.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2000Date of Patent: January 28, 2003Assignee: The Catholic University of AmericaInventors: Corinna E.
