Abstract: A stormwater capture housing system designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by filtering solid waste from stormwater flow in roadways, transportation facilities, and pavement, while maintaining an optimal flow rate and enabling safe accessibility. The system comprises a housing unit with top grates that enable stormwater and solid waste to drain from the roadway into a sub-grade capture area formed by a screen weir and a screen box. The screen box ensures that the solid waste is collected while the water filters into a clean water area. The screen weir also filters solid waste and is further configured to allow for an overflow of stormwater and solid waste. Another section of the top wall has a filled grating configuration that allows for stormwater to drain without passing any solid waste to prevent flooding, also enabling access to the internal components of the housing system.
