Abstract: A closure device for a container, and preferably for a water decanter, comprising a frame comprising a closure opening and which is preferably round and configured for insertion into a pouring opening of the container, a lid, which is connected to a pendulum and which is suspended in the closure opening of the frame, and configured to swing therein, wherein the lid is configured to close and seal the closure opening when the container is substantially upright, and wherein the lid and pendulum are configured to rotate with respect to the closure opening when the container is held in a slanted or horizontal manner. The closure device preferably comprises at least one cantilever arm secured to an inner wall of the frame at a first end and connected to the lid at a second end so that the lid is configured to swing with respect to the closure opening.

Abstract: The invention relates to dining and/or serving cutlery made of a steel material which is formed from a ferritic core with an essentially martensitic boundary layer. In the dining and/or serving cutlery of the invention, the surface hardness of the boundary layer, determined according to the hardness test according to Vickers HV 3, is thereby greater by 30 to 300% than the lowest hardness of the core, likewise measured according to Vickers HV 3.

Abstract: A machine for the preparation of a hot drink with a housing and a brewing chamber, wherein the housing is provided with a connection region through which the brewing water is passed to the upper part of the brewing chamber. In order to seal the inflowing brewing water against the environment at the connecting point between the housing and the brewing chamber in a simple, economical and wear-resistant manner without complex locking mechanisms being needed, a seal is inserted into the upper part of the brewing chamber, wherein the seal and the connection region are automatically pressed together when the brewing chamber is inserted into the machine such that the connecting point between the connection region and the upper part of the brewing chamber is sealed against the environment.

Abstract: A machine for the preparation of a hot drink with a water tank, a closed brewing chamber and a region for the accommodation of a cup. In order to minimize the size of the machine, to simultaneously prevent the production of germination and to save manufacturing and operating costs, the capacity of the water tank is rated such that the amount of water is only sufficient for one cup of hot drink so that the water tank is empty at the end of brewing.
