  • Publication number: 20210286405
Abstract: An electronic device includes a device screen having an active region where the screen can provide output to a user or receive input from the user. A screen outer layer, such as a removable screen protector, is positionable between the device screen and the user and capable of passing the output or the input therethrough. The screen outer layer includes an active region that corresponds to the active region of the device screen, and the screen outer layer has an etched marking in the active region of the screen outer layer. In one version, the etched marking is provided on the inner surface. A method of using an electronic device includes installing on a device screen a screen outer layer, wherein the screen outer layer includes an active region that corresponds to the active region of the device screen, and wherein the screen outer layer has an etched marking in the active region of the screen outer layer.

  • Patent number: 10775120
Abstract: An automatic magazine ejection system is disclosed. The automatic magazine ejection system comprises a modified bolt catch, a release switch, and a pivotable magazine catch. The modified bolt catch pivots from a first position to a second position. When in the second position the bottom of an external part of the modified bolt catch moves toward the firearm. The release switch is connected to the modified bolt catch. The bottom of the release switch engages the end of the pivotable magazine catch to pivot the end of the magazine catch out of the magazine well and permit the automatic removal of the magazine. If the release switch is slid to an “off” position then the bottom of the release switch does not engage the pivotable magazine catch when it moves and the magazine is not removed from the magazine well.

  • Patent number: 10480879
Abstract: A follower for a firearm magazine comprising a top side shaped to support a cartridge and a lateral protrusion extending from the follower is disclosed. The lateral protrusion is disposed in an aperture in a wall of a magazine when the follower is disposed at a top position in the magazine. The follower may further comprise a front side disposed in a firing direction and connected to a front portion of top side and a rear side disposed in a rear direction and connected to a rear portion of the top side. The follower may have an elongated arm having a first end connected to the lateral protrusion and a second end connected to a portion of the follower. When the follower reaches the top of the magazine, the lateral protrusion pushes the magazine catch from the magazine and the magazine ejects from the lower receiver.

  • Patent number: 10386141
Abstract: A follower insert system for a follower in a firearm magazine is disclosed. The follower insert system comprises an insert block having a front side, a rear side, a top side, and two lateral sides facing in opposite directions, wherein at least one of said two lateral sides has a recess; a spring disposed in said recess of said insert block; and a lateral pin disposed adjacent to said spring. The follower insert system may further comprise a cover disposed on a lateral side of said insert block, wherein said cover has an aperture disposed in alignment with said recess of said insert block, wherein said lateral pin is disposed through said aperture of said cover. When the follower reaches the top portion of a magazine, the lateral pin engages the magazine release and the magazine is automatically ejected.

  • Patent number: 10126078
Abstract: A takedown pin assembly for a firearm is disclosed. The takedown pin assembly comprises an elongate pin, a spring, and a head disposed on one end of the pin. The pin further comprises a channel extending along at least a portion of the elongate pin in the direction of the pin's longitudinal axis. The channel has a width sufficient to receive a detent pin from a firearm. The elongate pin is configured to fit within a hole in an upper receiver or lower receiver of a firearm. The head has a lever handle extending laterally from a center portion of the head. A user engages the lever on the head to rotate the pin and allowing the detent pin to travel in the channel. The spring pushes the pin out from the firearm receivers to allow the user to open the action.

  • Patent number: 8756845
Abstract: An accessory which becomes an integral part of a semi-automatic firearm whereby the firearm is converted from one with a detachable magazine into one with a fixed magazine. The device is comprised of an upper tension bar and a magazine catch bar whereby the upper tension bar holds the magazine firmly within the magazine well receiver when the upper tension bar is contacting the upper receiver. When the upper receiver and lower receiver of the firearm are in an open position, the upper tension bar freely moves inward toward the firearm, allowing the magazine catch bar to remove from the magazine well receiver. A user may then remove the magazine from the magazine well receiver and replace it with a new magazine. The user must reattach the upper receiver to the lower receiver before utilizing the firearm.
