  • Patent number: 9261212
Abstract: A swivel connector includes a rotor that is rotatably coupled with a housing stem. In some embodiments a bearing cup is rotatably coupled at one end with an exterior surface of the rotor and anchored at an opposite end with the housing stem. An O-ring seal is positioned between the housing stem and the exterior surface of the rotor. In other embodiments, the bearing cup is rotatably coupled at one end with an exterior surface of the housing stem and anchored at an opposite end with the rotor. In such embodiments an O-ring seal is positioned between the rotor and the exterior surface of the housing stem. • Patent number: 9061298
Abstract: An adjustable sprayer comprising a fitting that includes a connector portion, an elongate cylindrical portion extending from the connector portion, and a bore formed longitudinally through the fitting. The sprayer includes a nozzle having a sleeve portion configured to receive the fitting's cylindrical portion whereby the nozzle is moveable, longitudinally, along the cylindrical portion between first and second spray positions. Movement of the nozzle into the first position permits a full diameter spray pattern through a water breaker. In the second position, fluid flow is restricted to a reduced diameter spray pattern through the water breaker.

  • Publication number: 20120037245
Abstract: A swivel connector of the present technology includes a housing that is rotatably coupled with a rotor, whereby an open fluid pathway extends through the housing and rotor. A rotary union bushing is coaxially, rotatably coupled with an exterior surface of the rotor. A rotor cap is coaxially, rotatably coupled around a length of the rotor; whereby at least a portion of the rotary union bushing is disposed within an interior portion of the rotor cap. A bearing assembly is coupled with the exterior surface of the rotor and at least one of the rotary union bushing or the rotor cap. An O-ring seal may be positioned between the housing and the exterior surface of the rotor to further limit the passage of fluid from the fluid pathway to the interior portion of the rotor cap.

  • Publication number: 20110297779
Abstract: A reel assembly is provided to support lengths of fluid delivery line. A support arm is secured at one end with the reel assembly and shaped at the opposite end to engage a support structure. The support arm includes separate arm sections; each having mating end portions that are shaped to be releasably, coaxially securable with one another to resist rotation with respect to one another. The arm sections may be provided in various shapes, including straight and angled, to provide a variable geometry. A pivot joint may be formed within the support arm to allow a portion of the support arm and the reel assembly to pivot with respect to the support structure.

  • Patent number: 6637454
Abstract: A fluid handling system is disclosed having a swivel for connecting a stationary fluid source line to a fluid service line that is wound upon a reel. A rotor cap secures the fluid source line and a rotor within the swivel in position, allowing a housing within the swivel to freely rotate with the fluid service line and reel. The swivel is coupled to the fluid source line using a crimping ferrule to eliminate the necessity of predisposing mating components on the fluid source line. The swivel is further provided with seals that reduce the incidence of bunching and tear due to the reduction in drag imposed on the seals.
