  • Publication number: 20150208835
Abstract: Systems and kits for decorating walls include a plurality of décor assemblies and a plurality of complementary fastening structures. The décor assemblies include a décor element and a releasable fastening structure providing first fastening elements. The complementary fastening structure includes a base, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the base, and second fastening elements. The first fastening elements are releasably mateable with the second fastening elements to define a releasable fastening system. During use, a complementary fastening structure is releasably applied to a wall, and is connected to and supports one of the décor assemblies via the releasable fastening system. The releasable fastening system can comprise low profile hooks and loops, exhibiting relatively low holding power.

  • Publication number: 20150203320
Abstract: A hand held dispenser for dispensing sheet material from a roll. The dispenser includes a handle assembly, an elongated blade, and a support assembly. The handle assembly includes a hub rotatably mounted to a frame. The blade extends from the frame. The support assembly includes a bracket, a brace and a support hub. The bracket is attached to the blade apart from the frame and includes a guide track. The guide track provides first and second segments that combine to define a guide axis. A leading side of the brace is slidably mounted to the guide track along the guide axis. The support hub is rotatably mounted to a trailing side of the brace. In a locked state, the leading side is slidably disposed over the track first segment and cannot rotate. In an unlocked state, the leading side is over the track second segment and is allowed to rotate.

  • Patent number: 8979054
Abstract: A wall mountable storage assembly including a storage device, at least one mounting plate, and at least one double-faced adhesive. The storage device includes a coupling bracket forming a first engagement feature. The mounting plate forms a second engagement feature. The first and second engagement features have a complimentary construction configured to provide a releasable snap fit connection in which the mounting plate can articulate relative to the coupling bracket. The adhesive is configured to be arranged between the mounting plate and a wall, with the mounting plate articulating relative to the coupling bracket to facilitate complete contact between the adhesive and the wall. The storage device can include two spaced-apart coupling brackets. Two of the mounting plates are provided, each carrying adhesive. The mounting plates can articulate independent of one another, accommodating variations in flatness of the wall to which the storage assembly is mounted.
