Abstract: A walker is disclosed having two sets of handles positioned for rising from and lowering to a seated position in addition to serving as a walking aid. The walker comprises a frame having a front section comprising a pair of front vertical supports and a rigid cross-piece, and two side sections each comprising a rear vertical support having a load-bearing axis formed through a ground-engaging point, rigid connectors connecting the side sections to the front section, a first pair of handles positioned to support a user in a standing or walking position, and a second pair of handles positioned below and to the rear of the first set of handles to support a user in rising from or lowering to a seated position, in which the geometric centers of each of the second pair of handles is positioned to the rear of the load-bearing axis of each of the rear vertical supports.

Abstract: A trap for catching mice and rats includes a standard mousetrap mounted within a two-part housing. The standard mousetrap includes a tab which projects through a slot an arcuate upper wall of one portion of the housing, allowing one to cock the trap from the exterior of the housing. The first portion of the housing is pivoted to the second portion of the housing so that the housing can be conveniently opened to dispose of a mouse or rat caught in the trap. The housing shields the cocked trap so as to enhance the safety thereof while allowing one to empty the trap without running the risk of touching the mouse or rat caught therein.

Abstract: A vented package for a plurality of dispensers for flowable products. The vented package includes a base member having a fluid passage therein and an overcap having an aperture therein to allow venting of product vapors which escape from the dispensers. The dispenser includes a container body, a mounting member fitted on the container body and a dispensing head such as an applicator head movably mounted on the mounting member. The mounting member includes an axially extending closure member with a pin member thereon. The dispensing head includes an aperture and a skirted chamber beneath the aperture, the skirted chamber including slits for controlling flow of material into the skirted chamber from the container body. The dispensing head is movable from an open position to a closed position wherein the closure member fits within the skirted chamber and the pin member fits within the aperture.

Abstract: A dispenser including a container body, a mounting member fitted on the container body and a dispensing head such as an applicator head movably mounted on the mounting member. The mounting member includes an axially extending closure member with a pin member thereon. The dispensing head includes an aperture and an axially extending wall forming a skirted chamber beneath the aperture, the skirted chamber including slits at least one opening through the wall for controlling flow of material from outside the wall, through the opening and into the skirted chamber from the container body. The dispensing head is movable from an open position to a closed position wherein the closure member fits within the skirted chamber and the pin member fits within the aperture.
