  • Publication number: 20040073652
Abstract: A system and method for reporting, either automatically or manually, a dynamic IP address of an internet connection, which system and method involves a dedicated hardware device or circuit card/subsection, which is not a general purpose PC that generates and communicates over the internet such dynamic IP addresses.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 17, 2002
    Publication date: April 15, 2004
    Inventor: Craig J. Jensen
  • Patent number: 6721175
Abstract: A system and method for visually differentiating an industrial PC including a color-coded removable rigid differentiation plate disposed on the front side of the industrial PC. The removable rigid differentiation plate is non-adhesive and is mechanically coupled to the faceplate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 17, 2002
Date of Patent: April 13, 2004
    Assignee: Crystal Group Inc.
Inventors: Curtis R. Nelson, Craig J. Jensen, John R. Bodensteiner
  • Patent number: 6501659
Abstract: A system and method for identifying a match between an industrial PC to a slot in a rack which uses a blind mating keying and locking plates, so that when the mechanical keying plate and locking plate do match, then full insertion of the PC into the slot is permitted. When a mis-match occurs, then full insertion is prohibited.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 7, 2000
Date of Patent: December 31, 2002
    Assignee: Crystal Group Inc.
Inventors: John R. Bodensteiner, Craig J. Jensen

  • Patent number: 5554428
Abstract: There is disclosed an improved memory disk stock comprised of an alloy composition which includes: about 1-11 wt. % magnesium, preferably between about 2-7 wt. % Mg; up to about 0.3 wt. % zirconium, preferably about 0.02-0.25 wt. % Zr; up to about 0.2 wt. % iron, up to about 0.2 wt. % silicon, and about 0.05-1 wt. % of a dispersoid-forming element selected from scandium, erbium, thulium, lutetium, ytterbium, hafnium and yttrium, the balance aluminum and incidental elements and impurities. With preferably about 0.1-0.45 wt. % of scandium added to such compositions, these disk stocks exhibit a two- to three-fold increase in strength over the same compositions without any scandium added. They result in magnetic media recording devices having improved temperature resistance with average yield strengths of 30 ksi or more. There is also claimed an improved method for making such memory disk devices.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 1, 1994
Date of Patent: September 10, 1996
