  • Publication number: 20240109564
Abstract: A method is provided that can include activating at least two wireless communication channels in parallel, between a first wireless transceiver and a second wireless transceiver. Each of the at least two wireless communication channels can operate at a different radio carrier frequency, and the first wireless transceiver may be part of a first vehicle. The method can also include transmitting, by the first wireless transceiver, common information in parallel on the at least two wireless communication channels to the second wireless transceiver and deactivating the at least two wireless communication channels.

  • Patent number: 5192247
Abstract: A ride attraction has a stationary domed projection screen and a stationary projector, a plurality of motion bases with each supporting a viewer platform or vehicle. An elevator is provided for lifting the vehicle out of a staging room to a viewing position. The motion bases are mutually arranged with respect to each other such that a passenger in any vehicle can view substantially the entire screen but not any other vehicle within the theatre. Actuators beneath each vehicle move the vehicle in three dimensions in coordination with the projected motion picture.

  • Patent number: 5114140
Abstract: An underwater explosion effect simulator includes a submerged shooter for shooting props and dye-colored water through the water surface. A compressed air source is linked to the shooter to drive the charge of water from the shooter during the explosion sequence. Prop pieces are ejected from the shooter through the water surface and trajectories over a submerged collector substantially surrounding the shooter. The collector is displaceable through an underwater winching system from a collect position wherein the props settle onto the collector to a funnel position wherein the props fall under gravity into the shooter. The shooter extends from a loading position below the collector to a shooting position close to the water surface.
