  • Publication number: 20240011383
Abstract: A system includes a dispensing device having a material chamber to store an oilfield material and to fluidly couple to a wellhead, a plurality of flow control devices to control a flow of the oilfield material via the material chamber, a plurality of sensors to measure one or more properties related to the dispensing device, and a control system communicatively coupled to the dispensing device. The control system opens a first flow control device to fill the material chamber with the oilfield material, monitors a condition associated with the material chamber based on the properties measured via the plurality of sensors, opens a second flow control device to provide a high pressure fluid into the material chamber when the condition is present, and open a third flow control device, where the third flow control device fluidly couples the material chamber to the wellhead.

  • Patent number: 10156112
Abstract: A wellhead apparatus with a removable sealing wafer is provided. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wellhead housing with a pocket formed in its upper end and a wafer installed in the pocket. A flange is coupled to the exterior of the upper end of the wellhead housing, and an additional component is coupled to the wellhead housing via the flange. Further, a first seal is positioned between the wafer and a shoulder of the wellhead housing, and a second seal is positioned between the wafer and the additional component. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180187508
Abstract: An apparatus for distributing fluids to a well. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a well stimulation fluid delivery system (10) having an intake connection (90) for receiving well stimulation fluid and a first conduit (136) configured to route the well stimulation fluid from the intake connection to multiple outlet connections (84) configured to be coupled to pumps (54) for increasing the pressure of the well stimulation fluid. A second conduit (138) of the apparatus is configured to receive the well stimulation fluid from the pumps, via multiple inlet connections (94) configured to be coupled to the pumps, and to route the well stimulation fluid to a discharge connection (124, 128). The apparatus also includes individual skids (38, 40, 42) including platforms (76, 104, 114) on which fluid conduit segments are mounted. The individual skids are coupled to one another via their mounted fluid conduit segments to form the first conduit and the second conduit.
