  • Patent number: 9322179
Abstract: A roofing suspension support and related system and methods are disclosed. The roofing suspension support can comprise a support member, a purlin web coupling portion, and a fixture coupling feature. The purlin web coupling portion can be located at a top end of the support member. The web coupling portion can be configured to couple the support member to a web of a roofing purlin. The fixture coupling feature can be located at a bottom end of the support member. The fixture coupling feature can be configured to couple a fixture to the support member and to position the fixture below a lower flange of the purlin.

  • Publication number: 20150023769
Abstract: A bulk material handling device can comprise a base and a frame rotatably coupled about the base. The frame can have a first bin engagement feature. The bulk material handling device can also comprise a carriage slidably coupled to the frame. The carriage can have a second bin engagement feature. In addition, the bulk material handling device can comprise an actuator coupled to the base and the carriage. The actuator can be operable to cause the carriage to move relative to the frame to secure a bin with the first and second bin engagement features and to cause the frame to rotate relative to the base to dump material disposed in the bin.

  • Patent number: 8701366
Abstract: An insulated roof deck system which can be used in installing metal roofs is set forth. The system includes a plurality of metal purlins (10), a plurality of metal roof panels (2), a plurality of thermal insulation blocks (4), cleats (14), and threaded fasteners (12). The metal purlins (10) can form a parallel array of purlins. The metal roof panels (2) can be attached to the metal purlins (10) in the parallel array. The thermal insulation blocks (4) can be disposed between the metal purlin (10) and the metal roof panel (2). The cleat (14) can be disposed between the thermal insulation blocks (4) and the metal roof panel (2) and has a protrusion which is capable of securing the thermal insulation block (4) and inhibits lateral movement between the thermal insulation block (4) and the cleat (14). The threaded fastener (12) secures the metal roof panel (2), the cleat (14), and the thermal insulation block (4) to the metal purlin (10).

  • Patent number: 8661763
Abstract: A purlin brace system for roof decks which can be used to provide additional lateral support to roofs is set forth. The system includes a plurality of purlins, each purlin including a central support and a bottom flange. The plurality of purlins are oriented to form a parallel array of purlins such that voids exist between the purlins in the parallel array. The bottom flanges of the purlins define a lower plane. The system further includes at least one brace oriented transverse to the plurality of purlins. The at least one brace has a span member transverse to a purlin axis. The at least one brace is attached to a vertical plate which is cantilevered such that the vertical plate extends away from the span member and along the central support to resist rotational movement of a corresponding purlin.
