Abstract: Embodiments related to payments linked to a mobile number are described herein. In an embodiment, a payment request is received from a payee device for a payment on behalf of payer. A mobile number associated with the payer is determined, and an authorization request for the payment is transmit to the mobile number. A payment authorization from a device associated with the mobile number is received. A transaction request is submit to a financial institution associated with the payer to make the payment to payee. The payer and payee are notified as to a result of the transaction request.
