Patent number: 11971399Abstract: A resonant sensor probe assembly includes a substrate formed from one or more dielectric materials and free-standing electrodes coupled with the substrate. The free-standing electrodes are configured to be placed into the fluid and to generate an electric field between the free-standing electrodes. A controller measures an impedance response of the sensor to the fluid between the electrodes to determine an aging effect of the sensor.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: TRANSPORTATION IP HOLDINGS, LLCInventors: Radislav Alexandrovich Potyrailo, Craig Mack, Christopher Calvert, Brian Scherer, James Schreiner, Najeeb M. Patent number: 6328179Abstract: An improved portable cooler includes a cooler body (10) provided with wheels (36) and a pivoted towing handle (16) provided with two grips (140, 142) to allow use of the cooler by persons of both tall and short stature. The cooler cover (12) is provided with a recess (44) and a closure panel (58) for storage of items within the cooler but above melting ice or relatively heavy items that might crush items contained in the cooler. A table assembly (14) is operable independently of the lid (12) allowing the table (14) to be deployed on a leg (78) with the cooler lid (12) in a closed position, as well as to allow access to the interior cavity (28) of the cooler without clearing the table (14). Retractable bungee cords (108) for securing items to the cooler are provided.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2000Date of Patent: December 11, 2001Assignee: The Thermos CompanyInventors: Ann-Marie Conrado, Alice Mensch, Bart Massee, Craig Scherer

Patent number: 6126024Abstract: A convertible cup, connectable to a vacuum bottle, is provided including a dome-shaped cover part and a cup-shaped vessel part. The dome-shaped cover part has first threads, a first opening for the dispensing of liquids, and a second opening for the intake of air. A cup-shaped vessel part has second threads suitable for connection to the first threads. When the second threads are connected to the first threads, the cup-shaped vessel part may be nested inside the dome-shaped cover part thereby forming a cup with an open top. The cup-shaped vessel part also has third threads suitable for connecting to the first threads. When the third threads are connected to the first threads, the cup-shaped vessel part and the dome-shaped cover part form a chamber. The convertible cup may also include fourth threads on the dome-shaped vessel part for connecting to a vacuum bottle.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1998Date of Patent: October 3, 2000Assignee: The Thermos CompanyInventors: Frankie Ramirez, Chris Gielow, Ann Marie Conrado, Craig Scherer
