  • Publication number: 20060252290
Abstract: A female service outlet for is configured for receiving a male electrical plug and is defined by an outer body section, an inner body section, and a shoulder therebetween. The receptacle may be pre-wired and the inner body section is configured to extend into an opening formed in a wall and the shoulder has a dimension greater than the inner body section. Fasteners hold the receptacle in place against the wall.

  • Publication number: 20040149422
Abstract: Wine must in a standard primary fermentation tote may be heated or chilled by circulating fluid through a heat exchanger that is submersed in the must and supported by a frame. Quick connect couplings allow for rapid connection of the heat exchanger to a fluid source, and allow the unit to be quickly transferred from one tote to another. The temperature of the fluid may be controlled to quickly control the temperature of the must. An impeller shaft is contained within the coiled heat exchanger and is rotated by a motor. Rotation of the impellers causes continuous, gentle circulation of the must, increasing the rate of temperature change and disrupting the cap and preventing cap formation.

  • Patent number: 6751972
Abstract: An apparatus for simultaneous heating and cooling includes a heating system and a cooling system, each having a plurality of heat exchangers coupled by a refrigerant circulation system, the refrigerant transfer system having refrigerant flow selection means for controlling the flow of heat-carrying refrigerant, whereby a refrigerant flow selection means selectively routs refrigerant flow between heating and cooling system heat exchangers selected by the flow selection means. The apparatus includes embodiments wherein the heating system heat exchangers comprise a condenser and a vessel containing water, the cooling system heat exchangers comprise an evaporator and a vessel containing water, and refrigerant flow paths are selected by a plurality of valves that select heat exchangers. The apparatus further includes an air handling system for moving air so as to be in thermal contact with selected heat exchangers, whereby air having moisture is dried.

  • Patent number: 4688717
Abstract: A heating system having buried, outwardly directed loops through which freon is routed for partaking of ground heat. The buried loops are inclined downwardly from an expansion valve and distributor with the loops each discharging into a central collector from where the freon vapor is directed to a liquid trap and thence a compressor. A medium-to-air heat exchanger is located in a cold air duct. A receiver tank stores liquid freon and supplies in a constant manner to the expansion valve.
