  • Publication number: 20240083532
Abstract: Trailers or other towed apparatuses are used to transport agricultural equipment. This can include combine heads, such as the heads for corn or soybean. The combine heads are extended on the trailer in an elongated manner that is in the longitudinal length or direction of the travel of the trailer. Due to the length of the trailer, it is advantageous to construct the trailer out of multiple segments that are bolted together to for an elongated unit. The trailer includes one or more rear axles that can be position-adjustable to adjust the wheelbase for the trailer and to account for equipment of various sizes. A rear hitch at the distal end of the trailer allows for the trailer to connect to and/or haul additional equipment.

  • Patent number: 9518405
Abstract: The present invention relates in general to grasping accessories for utility tractors, particularly, for hydraulically-operated front end loader attachments for skid loaders. The purpose of the invention is to provide a multi-purpose accessory that protects an operator from loose debris while allowing the operator to remain in the tractor cab while grasping, pulling, and/or lifting bulky objects that would normally require the operator to step away from the cab or request the assistance of one or more persons. Such objects may include planted trees, bushes, or posts that require removal from the soil and transportation for disposal.

  • Patent number: 9470015
Abstract: A grasping attachments for utility tractors is provided and, particularly, a hydraulically-operated front end loader attachments for skid loaders is provided. The multi-purpose attachment allows an operator to remain in the tractor cab while grasping, pulling, and/or lifting bulky objects that would normally require the operator to step away from the cab or request the assistance of one or more persons. Such objects may include planted trees, bushes, or posts that require removal from the soil and transportation for disposal. The attachment includes a fixed jaw and a pivoting jaw, where the fixed jaw is positioned relative to the frame of the attachment such that there is a larger area between the jaws to surround and grasp an object.

  • Publication number: 20050220595
Abstract: A trailer has a tail end which is convertible from a sloping ramp for ease of loading to a level load carrying surface. The trailer has a forward, level deck with a fixed, sloping tail end ramp frame. A platform structure mounted on the ramp frame has a forward end hingedly connected at a rear of the level deck. A raising mechanism extends between the tail end of the ramp frame and the platform for swinging the platform upwardly to level with the deck to form an extension of the deck. Two embodiments of the trailer are disclosed. The second embodiment has a center section raisable platform with fold out ramps on either side of the platform which swings out to ground surface. The center section can be raised and the fold out ramp swung inwardly to create a level load surface level with the trailer deck. The first embodiment has a raisable platform structure which extends across the entirety of the tail end ramp frame.

  • Patent number: 6764130
Abstract: A tailgate for a load carrying body, such as a dump trailer, is selectively openable to various positions, including left opening, right opening, swing up and swing down. Variable opening positions maximize flexibility for the owner/operator. A left or right swing opening is enable by removeable and storable hinge pins. An up or down opening is enable by latches, which are openable and operate as hinges when closed.

  • Patent number: 6589005
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tilt bed trailer which includes a frame platform with transport wheels. A V-shaped draw tongue has rearwardly diverging draw arms which terminate in sleeve ends that are spaced the width of the frame platform. Hinge connections extend between the frame platform and the draw tongue with each hinge connection including left and right hinge supports extending downwardly below the frame platform and the side rails with a hinge rod extending therebetween. The draw arm sleeve ends are sleeved on the hinge rods so that the draw tongue swings vertically relative to the frame platform. An extensible member such as a hydraulic ram extends longitudinally angularly between the platform front end and the front portion of the draw tongue so that upon extension the frame platform tilts upwardly and rearwardly about the transport wheels to lower the frame platform rear end to the ground for ease of loading.
