    Abstract: A heating control apparatus for exciting the heating element of a kiln or the like. The heating control apparatus includes an interval timer that produces a pulse of electricity having a predetermined duration of time, a fixed timer adapted to open and close an electrical path, and a power relay connected to the heating element and which is adapted to excite the heating element for selected periods of time in response to the operation of the fixed and interval timers.
