Abstract: The present invention provides methods for detecting gene expression in normal and cancerous cells. Specifically, provided are methods utilizing molecular beacons (MB) technology combined with fluorescence imaging techniques for detecting, identifying or quantitating the presence of, or alterations in gene expression of, various tumor markers in a sample of cells.

Abstract: The BUMPER APRON/PROTECTOR is a protective mat made from a variety of materials ranging from cloth to leather. Once it is attached in place in the trunk or rear cargo area of a vehicle, the unattached end can be simply grasped, pulled out of the vehicle's trunk/cargo space and dropped down over the bumper where it serves two functions: 1. it protects the rear bumper from being nicked, scratched or dinged as articles, such as golf bags and golf clubs, are dropped or rubbed across the bumper as they are being placed into and out of the vehicle's trunk or cargo space area and 2. it functions as a clean surface on which a person may sit when performing any function requiring a seated position such as changing from street shoes to golf shoes.

Abstract: Briefly described, methods of detecting a phosphorylated mitogen activated protein kinase (P-MAPK), methods of diagnosing cancer, kits for detecting P-MAPK, and kits for diagnosing cancer, are disclosed. One exemplary kit, among others, includes a composition including an antibody that bonds to a phosphorylated mitogen activated protein kinase (P-MAPK) or a variant thereof to form a detectable complex; and a set of printed instructions specifying, in order of implementation, steps to be followed for detecting the P-MAPK or a variant thereof by detecting the complex. The composition and the printed instructions are in packaged combination.
