Abstract: An exhaust gas purification member includes at least one block to purify exhaust gases and a casing having an inner surface surrounding the purification block and delimiting a channel for circulating the exhaust gases. At least one element supports the purification block, and is interposed between the inner surface of the casing and a side wall of the purification block. The inner surface of the casing includes at least one portion protruding towards the purification block. The supporting element is interposed between the side wall of the purification block and the protruding portion.
