  • Publication number: 20240148291
Abstract: An imaging system, such as a surgical microscope, laparoscope, or endoscope or integrated with these devices, includes an illuminator providing patterned white light and/or fluorescent stimulus light. The system receives and images light hyperspectrally, in embodiments using a hyperspectral imaging array, and/or using narrowband tunable filters for passing filtered received light to an imager. Embodiments may construct a 3-D surface model from stereo images, and will estimate optical properties of the target using images taken in patterned light or using other approximations obtained from white light exposures. Hyperspectral images taken under stimulus light are displayed as fluorescent images, and corrected for optical properties of tissue to provide quantitative maps of fluorophore concentration. Spectral information from hyperspectral images is processed to provide depth of fluorophore below the tissue surface. Quantitative images of fluorescence at depth are also prepared.

  • Publication number: 20240142139
Abstract: A solar panel system includes solar tracking and dual locking hinges. A solar panel assembly may be connected to a base via a linear actuator, actuator arm, and lever arm, which in connection of either of the two locking hinges acting as an axis of rotation, form a toggle joint mechanism for tilting the solar panel assembly to a desired angle in a desired direction. The desired angle may be automatically determined using solar tracking algorithms using data from light sensors, or may be controlled manually by a user. The locking hinges may include electromagnetic locks, which may lock the associated hinge to the base when energized, and unlock the associated hinge when de-energized. To tilt the solar panel assembly in one of two directions, one hinge is locked and the other unlocked, allowing the unlocked end to move upward to achieve the desired tilt angle.

  • Patent number: 11971719
Abstract: Low profile object detection can be performed on mowers or other vehicles that may be autonomous. An autonomy controller can be employed on a mower to receive and process sensor data for a detection area to determine whether an object may be present in a region of interest within the detection area. When the autonomy controller determines that an object may be present, it can cause the ground speed of the mower to be slowed and can commence buffering region of interest sensor data over a period of time. The autonomy controller can process the buffered region of interest sensor data to determine whether an object is present in the region of interest, and if so, can alter the path of the mower appropriately.
