  • Publication number: 20090247870
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an operating device for an operator to input an instruction, an image display device for displaying an ultrasonic image, and a processing device that generates the ultrasonic image based on a reception signal resulting from transmission of an ultrasonic wave for display on the display device. The image display device is mounted removably through an arm, which has a movable portion and extends up to near a table for resting a subject thereon, to any of a ceiling, a wall, and a floor surface of an installation room, or to an image display device mounting member fixed within the installation room. The operating device is mounted removably to an operating device mounting member arranged near the table. The processing device is mounted removably to a processing device mounting member arranged near the table.

  • Patent number: 6139497
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to display an image during the freeze mode or the cine reproduction mode which has a degree of averaging different from images displayed during the real-time display mode. During the real-time display mode, images are displayed based on the averaged image data F.sub.n. During the freeze mode or the cine reproduction mode, a plurality of sets of averaged image data F are read from a cine memory 3 and a calculation is performed thereon in the calculator 10 to generate averaged image data G having a degree of averaging different from the averaged image data F or unaveraged image data G. Then an image based on the data G is displayed.

  • Patent number: 5495846
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, which detects a moving part and a stationary part within the same frame and selects a suitable arithmetic averaging coefficient for each of them and thereby keeps well its characteristic to follow up an image and maintains its capability to reduce noises sufficiently. The invention attaining the above mentioned object is characterized by that it comprises:a frame memory for storing old data which are signals received on a previous occasion;a weighting function generator obtaining, for each pixel, differential data as the absolute value of the difference between new data, which are signals currently input thereto, and old data read from the frame memory for calculating arithmetic-averaging coefficients ".omega." and "1-.omega." as weighting functions, which are functions of the new data or the old data and the differential data;a new data multiplier for multiplying, for each pixel, the new data by the data "1-.omega.

  • Patent number: 5417217
Abstract: In an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which uses at least part of an array of a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators as an aperture for ultrasonic beam formation, sends ultrasonic waves into an object, receives echoes from the object, delays the output echo signals of a plurality of vibrators participating in receiving the echoes by a given quantity, adds up the delayed echo signals for echo beam forming, and forms a picture of an internal structure of the object by using the signals obtained by echo beam forming, the echo beam forming is characterized by forming a plurality of partial apertures in an aperture of an array of ultrasonic vibrators, delaying the echo signals provided by groups of vibrators included in the plurality of partial apertures by a given quantity determined so that a plurality of echo beams having a common focal point are formed, adding up the delayed echo signals of each group, detecting the respective sums of the delayed echo signals of the groups, and adding up the respective detected s

  • Patent number: 5110594
Abstract: Volatile oil extracted from sell flower growing in the wild is diluted with a solvent to about 2% and directly immersed into a sheet material such as paper, cloth or the like or adsorbed into adsorption particles and mixed into paper, for example, whereby sheet-like insecticides and bactericides made of sell flower essential oil are obtained. The insecticides and bactericides made of the sell flower essential oil have insecticide, fungicide, antimold and antibacterial effects and are effective as antivermin and antibacterial agents and harmful living-thing impeding agents. As a carrier, a mixture of one or two kinds or more of diatomaceous earth, alumina or the like, or various kinds of synthetic resins are used, and sell flower essential oil is immersed or blended therein whereby granular insecticides and bactericides are obtained.

  • Patent number: 5018528
Abstract: A pulse Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic system capable of invariably obtaining best Doppler signals with respect to an arbitrary sample volume length under the condition that mean power of transmit ultrasonic waves is restricted to a constant value. The system has a device for making the mean power constant and a device for making a burst wave number variable for transmit ultrasonic signals and also includes a device for making an integration interval length variable for ultrasonic receiving signals, thereby controlling the burst wave number of the transmit ultrasonic waves and the integration interval length of the ultrasonic receiving signals.
