  • Publication number: 20160147372
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first unit, a second unit, a sensor and a processor. The first unit includes a keyboard. The second unit is rotatably attached to an end of the first unit and includes a touchscreen display. The sensor is configured to detect a positional relationship between the first unit and the second unit. The processor is configured to set a correction value for correcting a coordinate value acquired by the touchscreen display based on a detected value of the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20150370383
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a detector and a notification processor. The detector detects states of one or more components related to power supply to the electronic apparatus. The notification processor notifies a sensor of a frequency at which the sensor operates based on the states of the one or more components.

  • Patent number: 9046940
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a first obtaining module, a second obtaining module, a correction module, and a drawing processor. The first obtaining module detects a position of a stylus on a writing surface of a sensor. The second obtaining module obtains writing pressure by the stylus. The correction module corrects the writing pressure obtained by the second obtaining module based on a selected first line width. The drawing processor draws a locus of the obtained position of the stylus on a display screen. The drawing processor has a first mode. The locus has a line width based on the writing pressure corrected by the correction module in the first mode.

  • Publication number: 20150116278
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus comprises a detector and a processor. The detector is configured to chronologically detect coordinates of positions sequentially indicated by an indicator on a detection surface. The processor is configured to determine a level of noise based on the coordinates, and to correct the coordinates using a correction strength value corresponding to the level of noise.
