  • Patent number: 8297009
Abstract: To provide a solar cell module capable of discharging rain water or the like even when the solar cell module is installed outdoor such as on the roof, and rain water or the like flows into the solar cell module. A solar cell module 1 includes a solar cell panel 9 having a primary side and a secondary side adjacent to the primary side, a primary frame member 10 disposed along the primary side, and a secondary frame member 20a disposed along the secondary side. The primary frame member 10 and the secondary frame member 20a include a holding unit that holds the solar cell panel 9. The primary frame member 10 includes, below the holding unit of the primary frame member 10, an end face 17a that is open at an end portion in a lengthwise direction of the primary frame member 10 and a primary interior space 17 communicating with the interior from the end face 17a.

  • Publication number: 20100288338
Abstract: A solar cell module (1a) includes main frame members (11a), each including a main retaining portion (20a) and a main wall portion (30a) that is connected to and extends downward below the main retaining portion (20a). The main retaining portion (20a) includes a main retaining wall (21) formed along a main side of a solar cell panel (9), and a main retaining upper piece (22) and a main retaining lower piece (23) that project inward from upper and lower ends of the main retaining wall (21), respectively, and engage and retain an edge portion of the solar cell panel (9) therebetween. The solar cell module (1a) also includes a main overhanging piece (24) that projects from the upper end of the main retaining wall (21) of the main retaining portion (20a) with a downward inclination toward the outside.

  • Publication number: 20090159116
Abstract: An interconnector includes a strip-shaped and electrically conductive member for electrically connecting respective electrodes to each other of solar cells adjacent to each other. The conductive member includes a stress relief part that is planer and has a notch forming an obtuse angle at a lateral end or has a linear lateral end. This structure remarkably alleviates a stress due to a difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the interconnector and the solar cells, so that a warp occurring to the solar cells is reduced and the reliability of connection between the interconnector and the solar cells is improved.
