  • Publication number: 20090002297
Abstract: In an image display device, each frame image in input image signals is divided into multiple subfield images according to the number of pixels to be shifted by a pixel shifting part (3), the subfield images are supplied to an spatial light modulation part (2) to spatially modulate light from a light source part (1), and the pixels of the spatial light modulation part are shifted by the pixel shifting part (3) in sync with said subfield images to display an image. The image display device has an image processing part (5) supplying to a spatial light modulation part (2) a smaller or larger number of subfield images than the number of the divided subfield images so that the display frame rate of the spatial light modulation part (2) is equal to the frame rate of the input image signals.

  • Patent number: 6811084
Abstract: A code reading apparatus main body optically reads a code from a recording medium, recording it as optically readable code, and stores the outcome of the reading operation and the parameters acquired during the reading operation in the data RAM of an application program storing cartridge. When a program processing apparatus reads the outcome of the reading operation as stored in the data RAM, it provides randomness to the outcome of the reading operation according to the parameters stored in the data RAM.

  • Patent number: 6415108
Abstract: The user a mode setting section to optionally set one of a first mode that enables a predetermined operation necessary for recording, on the printing medium, a voice code image based on the voice input by the voice input section, and a second mode that disables the predetermined operation necessary for recording, on the printing medium, the voice code image based on the voice input by the voice input section. The mode set by the mode setting section is displayed on a display section incorporated in an output section. The predetermined operation that can be executed when the first mode is set is, for example, a voice input operation by a voice input section, a conversion operation by a digital conversion section, and a compression operation by a voice compression section.

  • Publication number: 20020081112
Abstract: A storage section stores voice data obtained by a digital conversion section and a voice compression section by processing a voice input from the voice input section to be imaged as a voice code image. A relating data generating section generates relating data for associating a photography still image recorded on a same printing medium and a voice code image, and stores the generated relating data to be associated with the associated voice data on the storage section. An output section outputs the voice data and relating data stored by the storage section to an external system for recording a still image and a voice code image on the printing medium.

  • Patent number: 6084634
Abstract: An electronic imaging apparatus composed of a solid-state sensor element for converting an image focused by an optical system into image data. The apparatus is selectively operable in a first drive mode for reading at least a large number of pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, and in a second drive mode for reading a second number of selected pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, the second number being smaller than the large number and the selected pixels being suited for foreground scene recognition.

  • Patent number: 6043899
Abstract: A code pattern image recording apparatus which allows easy layout and edit processes of a recorded code pattern image on another sheet surface without being limited by the size and the like of that sheet surface, includes a built-in microphone for inputting audio information, a code pattern image encode unit for converting the audio information into a code pattern image according to a predetermined format by processing the input audio information, a print head for continuously and optically readably printing and recording the converted code pattern image on a print medium, which is sequentially fed in a predetermined direction, along the feed direction, and a system controller for controlling to divisionally record the code pattern image by inserting non-recording regions in units of predetermined print recording lengths of the continuously recorded code pattern image along the feed direction of the print medium.
