  • Publication number: 20090148172
Abstract: The present invention provides a drawing device. A drawing component includes a stage and a drawing head. The drawing head draws on a recording medium supported by the stage. A moving component relatively moves the stage and the drawing head. A position detection component detects a relative position of the stage and the drawing head. An error detection component detects an abnormal state in which an abnormal drawing is performed on the recording medium. When the abnormal state is detected, a controller stops drawing with the drawing head and returns the relative position from the stop position to the position of the drawing start side, so that drawing may be resumed from a position within a predetermined range including the stop position.

  • Publication number: 20090066812
Abstract: A method for creating frame data used when forming an image by moving a spatial light modulation device including a plurality of plotting element arrays in a scanning direction which forms an inclination angle ? with an arrangement direction of the plotting element arrays, and sequentially inputting the frame data to the spatial light modulation device according to the movement of the device in the scanning direction. The method is based on image data in which pixel data are disposed two-dimensionally in a sub-scanning direction corresponding to the scanning direction, and a main scanning direction orthogonal to the sub-scanning direction, and the frame data are created after performing a deformation process on the image data such that the pixel data corresponding to each of the plotting element arrays (e.g., circled numbers 1 to 6) are disposed in the main scanning direction.

  • Publication number: 20080220344
Abstract: In a drawing method for drawing an image on a substrate by relatively moving a drawing head that forms, based on input drawing-point data, drawing points on the substrate with respect to the substrate and by sequentially forming the drawing points on the substrate by the drawing head based on the movement of the drawing head, a relative positional deviation between the substrate and the drawing head during drawing of the image is obtained. Further, formation positions of the drawing points by the drawing head are corrected based on the obtained relative positional deviation.

  • Patent number: 7339602
Abstract: An image-drawing device, which carries out image-drawing on the basis of image-drawing data, has image-drawing heads which are moved relatively in a predetermined scanning direction along an image-drawing surface. The image-drawing heads have a large number of image-drawing elements lined-up two-dimensionally within a plane which is parallel to the image-drawing surface. The straight lines along which the plural image-drawing elements are lined-up are inclined, with respect to the scanning direction, at a predetermined inclination angle such that an image-drawing magnification has an effective value after a decimal point. A data allocating unit allocates the image-drawing data to the respective image-drawing elements at predetermined timings corresponding to a resolution determined in accordance with the image-drawing magnification.

  • Patent number: 7212327
Abstract: An imaging head faces an imaging surface and is relatively moved along the scanning surface in a predetermined scanning direction. The imaging head includes an imaging element group and an alteration section. The imaging element group is structured by a plurality of imaging elements, which are arranged two-dimensionally in a plane substantially parallel to the imaging surface. The imaging element group generates a group of image pixels at the imaging surface in a two-dimensional arrangement which is inclined, as a whole, at a predetermined inclination angle with respect to the scanning direction. The alteration section alters a number of image pixels in a direction which is inclined from the scanning direction by the inclination angle, on the basis of a difference between the predetermined inclination angle of the imaging element group and an actual inclination angle of the image pixel group.
