  • Patent number: 9205799
Abstract: An airbag and an airbag device are provided that can effectively prevent a rise of the internal pressure of the airbag when the airbag is hindered from being normally inflated/deployed while gas is prevented from being wasted. An airbag includes a pair of side panels that form a bag by being sewn together, an insertion hole formed in the side panel, and a valve disposed on an inner side of the side panel so as to stop up the insertion hole and having two end portions connected to the side panel. While the airbag is housed in the structure, the valve is drawn to an outer side of the side panel through the insertion hole and disposed so as to stop up the insertion hole and, while the airbag is inflated/deployed, the valve is drawn to the inner side of the side panel.

  • Publication number: 20150321638
Abstract: To provide an airbag and an airbag device that can keep the internal pressure of the airbag in the initial stage of inflation and deployment high. An airbag includes a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber includes a nozzle forming a flow path capable of communicating with the second chamber, and a tether connecting the inner surface of the nozzle and the inner surface of the first chamber. During the inflation and deployment of the first chamber, the supply of gas to the second chamber is prevented by retracting the nozzle into the first chamber. After the first chamber is expelled into the cabin and when a predetermined external pressure is loaded on the first chamber, the nozzle is expelled into the second chamber so as to allow gas to be supplied to the second chamber.

  • Publication number: 20150326662
Abstract: When data subjected to synchronous communication is changed while an information processing apparatus is set in a stop mode in which synchronous communication with a server is stopped, it is determined whether to synchronize the changed data and data in the server. When it is determined to synchronize the changed data and the data in the server, the changed data is transmitted to the server by synchronous communication even if the stop mode is set.

  • Patent number: 9019522
Abstract: A printing apparatus according to this invention includes a plurality of paper feed cassettes. Upon receiving a print job which designates a paper feed cassette, the printing apparatus determines whether the paper size of the paper feed cassette designated by the print job that is stored in a memory matches the paper size needed for executing the print job. If the printing apparatus determines that these paper sizes do not match each other, it restricts execution of the print job. If a feeding unit is set while execution of the print job is restricted, the printing apparatus decides the set feeding unit as a feeding source of paper used to execute the print job. The printing apparatus feeds paper contained in the decided feeding unit, and executes the print job.

  • Publication number: 20150042289
Abstract: An assembled battery includes a plurality of secondary cells, a first arithmetic operator, a second arithmetic operator, and a discharger. The first arithmetic operator calculates a voltage change rate of each of the secondary cells during charging/discharging thereof. The second arithmetic operator determines a discharge condition for each of the secondary cells from the voltage change rate calculated in the first arithmetic operator and a state of charge of each of the secondary cells. The discharger performs discharging of each of the secondary cells on the basis of the discharge condition when the assembled battery is neither being charged nor being discharged. The second arithmetic operator determines the discharge condition of each of the secondary cells such that each of the secondary cells after the discharging has the same state of charge.
