  • Publication number: 20170136204
Abstract: The migraine treatment device of the preferred embodiments includes a threaded fitting designed to thread onto a beverage container; a valve coupled to the threaded fitting; a nozzle coupled to the valve, where the nozzle opening is smaller than the size of a human nostril; where at least some of the gas in the beverage container is one or more of: a) carbon dioxide, b) nitric oxide, c) nitrous oxide, d) an acidic gas, e) a gas that reacts with moisture to create acid, and f) an acidic vapor. The migraine treatment device is preferably designed to deliver gas into the nasal passageway of a user, where the gas is capable of reacting with moisture to create an acid so that the acid activates a sensation in the nerves of the nasal passageway, causing a reduction in a user's discomfort due to at least one of headaches and migraine headaches.

  • Patent number: 9519160
Abstract: A laser level eyewear apparatus for providing a level indication visible by a wearer through the lenses comprises a pair of base glasses for wearing in front of a user's eyes having a frame, two modified lenses through which the wearer can look, a level projection assembly that is biased to return to and remain in an orientation to project a laser indication a level orientation through the lenses, and a battery that supplies electrical power to the level projection assembly. The frame defines a frame style similar to that in conventional eyeglasses, except that it not only holds the integrated, modified lenses in place over the eyes of one wearing the frame, its eyewire area is structured to surround the edges of the modified lenses so as to allow the laser from the level projection assembly to freely pass through the lenses.

  • Publication number: 20150339688
Abstract: The electronic sales and marketing system of the preferred embodiments includes an algorithm stored on computer-readable medium and carried out by one or more networked computer devices, wherein the algorithm includes showing a post containing one or more of A) one or more products for sale, B) one or more services for sale, and C) one or more items for sale to a user; accessing information stored in computer-readable medium related to one or more additional user, if the first user one or more of: 1) designates that they feel positively about the post, 2) makes a purchase related to the contents of the post, and 3) rates or reviews the contents of the post; showing at least a portion of the contents of the post to the one or more additional users wherein the information related to the one or more other users at least one of I) suggests a social connection exists between the first user and the one or more other users, and II) shows that the first user and the one or more additional users have elected to be in

  • Publication number: 20150261755
Abstract: The software for searching prior art of the preferred embodiments includes an input interface, and allows a user to input one or more keywords related to at least two conceptual elements of an invention. The conceptual elements are preferably aspects of the ideas or innovations that make up the invention, where the conceptual elements together combine to describe at least the conceptual form of the invention. The conceptual elements, however, can represent any aspects of a conceptual or logical description or break down of the invention. The software for searching prior art of the preferred embodiments is designed to find a large fraction of the prior art related to an invention, and to sort the prior art so that the pieces of prior art most relevant to the invention are placed at the top of the search results. In an alternative use, the software for searching prior art of the preferred embodiments may be used to conduct research on a subject, including scientific or technical subjects.

  • Patent number: 9072938
Abstract: As shown in FIG. 1 the exercise machine of the preferred embodiments includes a mechanical force input interface 1 designed to interface with a user 5 and allow the user 5 to input force 4 into the exercise machine; a force resistor 2 that functions to resist force input into the mechanical force input interface 1 by the user 5; and a trigger mechanism 3 that functions to cause a sudden change in the resistance provided against the force input 4 by the user 5. The exercise machine of the preferred embodiments is designed to exercise muscles in a way that improves muscle speed, explosiveness, or both.

The exercise machine of the preferred embodiments is designed to exercise muscles in a way that improves muscle speed, explosiveness, or both. Sudden is defined by the Oxford dictionary as “occurring or done quickly and unexpectedly or without warning”—given human reaction times of roughly 500 milliseconds the force reduction is expected to take place in under roughly 500 milliseconds. This is only described as a minimum effective time for sudden operation, not to provide an optimal range of operation.

  • Publication number: 20120072497
Abstract: The social application of the first preferred embodiments includes selecting a group of users from a pool of users using an automatic selection algorithm or a combination of an automatic selection algorithm and a user driven process and putting the selected group of users into a game or putting the selected group of users into a group activity. The social application of the preferred embodiments is designed to give people an entertaining and structured way to interact, help people meet other people, give people a fun diversion, or any combination of these. The social application of the preferred embodiments may be a website, another application that uses the internet, or any other suitable form of networked application. The social application of the preferred embodiments may, however, be used for any suitable purpose, in any suitable way and with any suitable method of including users.
