Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided, wherein a device is attachable to or integrated in a firearm and includes a plurality of sensors that are each configured to sense a respective attribute of the firearm or of an environment surrounding the firearm, and are further configured to provide corresponding signals based on sensing the respective attribute. The systems, devices, and methods may be configured to determine an event from among a plurality of events based on the corresponding signals provided by the plurality of sensors. Systems that include the device may record event data and transmit the event data to various user systems for situational awareness, record keeping, training, and other organizational or legal-process purposes.

Abstract: Fixed weapon emplacements include ballistic weapon stands having heights sufficient to protect standing gunners in combination with tripods, which are fixed thereto with welded connections. In a first embodiment, the tripod has two legs fixed to a weapon platform and to the base of the ballistic weapons stand and a third leg fixed to the weapon platform and to a weld plate on a front armor plate of the stand. In a second embodiment, the third leg of the tripod is provided by a strut that extends through a slot in the front armor plate and is welded to both a weld plate behind the front armor plate and to the weapon platform. In a third embodiment, the tripod has one leg fixed to the base of the weapon stand and two legs welded to a weld plate behind the front armor panel to support the weapon platform. In a fourth embodiment, a hood projects from the front armor plate with a front leg of the tripod fixed to the base at a location within the hood and rear legs of the tripod fixed to the base.

Abstract: An armored shield includes an armor plate, an elongated spine member and a securing snap member. The modular armored shield is formed of the armor plate placed on two resting surfaces of a backside of the spine member with a hump portion of the elongated spine member extending through an armor plate slot and a securing snap member being mounted to the hump portion of the spine member with the hump portion extending through a securing snap slot. A modular armored shield assembly includes a plurality of armor plates joined at edges where at least one of two adjacent plates has threaded studs extending from the surface thereof and the other of said two adjacent plates has edges slots opening to the edge thereof at positions corresponding to positions of the studs. The modular armored shield assembly further includes a securing strip.

Abstract: A combination finger guard and needle protector for use on a sewing machine having a reciprocating needle and presser foot. The needle protector includes a bracket which is attached to a support arm of the sewing machine and has an air jet carried thereon. A source of pressurized air is connected to the air jet for cooling the needle during the sewing operation. A substantially U-shaped member is carried adjacent a front end of the bracket partially encircling the reciprocating needle for providing a finger guard for the needle.
