Abstract: A spider sleeve and seal apparatus for a gyratory crusher has upper and lower cylindrical sleeves disposed between the spider and a vertically slidable piston. Fixed o-rings are located between the sleeves and the spider, and moving seals are located in the piston. These seals prevent leakage from the hydraulic ring used to support the piston and shaft of the gyratory crusher.

Abstract: An adjustable support clamp apparatus and method for clamping is defined. The support clamp has two arcuate pliable bands with an adjustable coacting connection at their first adjoining ends and a coacting off-center tension clamp at their second adjoining ends. There is a resilient pliable gasket, with a textured surface, secured to each of the arcuate pliable bands. The adjustable connection at the first adjoining ends has an extension on a first band with a plurality of ports into which are placed a joining means that is on the end of a second extension of the second band. The joining means hinges in the ports to provide easy opening and closing of the clamp around a pole or barlike object and to provide a clamp that will adjust its diameter to accommodate poles or bars with varying diameters. The clamp has a plurality of supporting means that have a shaft with a spiral hook at one end and has its other end pivotally attached to the arcuate pliable bands.

Abstract: A multi-purpose sling includes an elongated flexible strap with a hook attached to one end, with the other end of the strap attached to the middle bar of a slide buckle threaded on the strap, thereby forming an adjustable loop. A second hook is attached to a ring which is threaded onto the strap in the adjustable loop. Each hook is J-shaped and large enough to freely hold the string of a compound bow.In a second embodiment, a hook is attached to one end of a flexible strap and the strap is then looped through a large ring. The strap is then threaded through a ring attached to the strap near the first hook, and then through a second ring which is loose on the strap. The other end of the strap is then fastened to the large ring to form a double loop arrangement. A second hook is connected to the loose ring. In this embodiment, the hooks are generally U-shaped with a narrow throat portion which will snap onto a ring or similar member on the item to be carried.
