Patent number: 11673431Abstract: A heavy truck tire is provided that includes a tread and a casing. The casing has a bead with a bead core having padding gum and a rod with a perimeter. A contention armature surrounds the bead core and has an overlap, a majority of which is located outward in the radial direction from the rod. The padding gum is arranged in relation to the rod such that an outer area, inner area, and an axially outer area of the padding gum have areas that are greater than or equal to 20% of the area of the perimeter of the rod. An axially inner area of the padding gum is greater than or equal to 10% of the area of the perimeter of the rod.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2018Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Compagnie Generale des Etablissements MichelinInventors: Charlotte Caffeau, Dale Green, Remy Guerin, Olivier Bergamaschi

Patent number: 9538774Abstract: Feeding a diet supplemented with DDGS or another supplement containing UFA at a level above a threshold to animals such as swine, cattle, and poultry can have negative effects on carcass fat, certain growth parameters, and meat characteristics. However, if this diet is provided with a second supplement that contains CPFA at specified levels in the diet, the negative effects otherwise expected are wholly or at least partially countered. The invention recommends employing a supplemental source of CPFA between about 0.001% and about 0.5% of the diet by weight. Negative effects on carcass characteristics caused by ractopamine can also be countered by the addition of this amount of at least one source of CPFA in the diet.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2013Date of Patent: January 10, 2017Assignee: Nutriquest, LLCInventors: Chad D Hagen, Steven P Weiss, Wayne Cast, Kenneth W Purser, Ran Song, Dale Green

Patent number: 6671064Abstract: An object optimized printing system and method comprises a page description language decomposing system, a command instruction and data generating system and an image output terminal controller. The PDL decomposition system inputs a print file defining a plurality of pages in the page description language and locates the plurality of objects forming each page and their object types. Based on the determine object types and any explicit rendering commands in the PDL file, the PDL decomposition system automatically generates rendering tags for each of the objects. The rendering tags are used to control the command instruction and data generating system, the IOT controller and/or the image output terminal to optimize the printing by the IOT on an object-by-object basis. Based on the objects and the generated rendering tags, the command instruction and data generating system generates the differing types of data and the command instructions on a scanline-by-scanline basis.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2001Date of Patent: December 30, 2003Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: David E. Rumph, Robert M. Coleman, Charles M. Hains, James K. Kenealy, Mark T. Corl, Russell R. Atkinson, Michael F. Plass, Eric S. Nickell, L. Dale Green, Robert R. Buckley

Patent number: 3975748Abstract: A multispectral laser camera made up of a plurality of energy producing means which scan a target area. The resultant reflected light off the target produces a true color image of the target after being processed through a series of photomultiplier tubes, amplifiers and modulators. By selectively varying the connections between the above elements a false color image of the scanned target may also be produced. This false color image overcomes the difficulties in detecting camouflaged targets.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 1970Date of Patent: August 17, 1976Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Air ForceInventors: Dale Green, Duane Erway, Robert Condon, William C. Patent number: 3940574Abstract: Reproducing the information stored in the spiral track of a record-type information-bearing disc is achieved by uniformly charging the surface of the disc by means of a corona-generating device disposed in proximity to the disc, and, thereafter, using a conductive stylus riding in the track of the disc to pick up the charge from only the peak points of the track. All peaks are at the same height. The system preferably uses FM encoding, and the information is carried by the track according to the peak-to-peak spacing. The stylus is shaped in relation to the track such that it may not touch the peaks in the track. The stylus contacts the sides of the track for tracking purposes. An air breakdown between the peaks and the metallic portion of the stylus results in the signal picked up by the stylus.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1973Date of Patent: February 24, 1976Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventor: Leland Dale Green
