    Abstract: A window well cover assembly comprises a cover grate, pivotally coupleable to a window well structure or a dwelling. At least one actuator is operable to pivot the cover grate from a closed position in which the cover grate is closed over the window well into an open position in which the cover grate is opened over the window well. A latching assembly is operable to maintain the cover grate in the closed position until released to allow the actuator to pivot the cover grate into the open position.
