  • Publication number: 20240173982
Abstract: A system (10) having a printing position and a non-printing position, the system (10) includes an image forming station (60) and a wiping assembly (200, 400). The image forming station (60) including at least a nozzle plate (61) having one or more nozzles (166, 166a, 166b, 166c), which are configured to apply droplets of a printing fluid onto a surface of one or more substrates (44) for producing one or more images thereon. The wiping assembly (200, 400) is at least partially positioned in a gap (141) between the nozzle plate (61) and the one or more substrates (44), and is configured, while the system (10) is in the printing position, to (i) make physical contact with the nozzle plate (61) and (ii) remove residues of the printing fluid from at least one of the nozzles (166, 166a, 166b, 166c).

  • Publication number: 20220109781
Abstract: Certain examples relate to a method of color matching by confirming a color-rendering device. Color reproduction parameters are determined for a reference and target color-rendering device. A color matching parameter is determined for the target color-rendering device based on a comparison of the color reproduction parameter for the target color-rendering device with the corresponding color reproduction parameter of the reference color-rendering device. The color-rendering device is confirmed dependent on the color matching parameter. Color resources of the target color-rendering device are configured such that a rendering of a color image on the target color-rendering device replicates a rendering of the color image on the reference color-rendering device.

  • Patent number: 9475286
Abstract: A method of cross-talk suppression and a system therein are disclosed. The method may include receiving a print pulse to simultaneously fire ink from an array of adjacent nozzles of an inkjet printhead; and actuating groups of three or more adjacent nozzles of said array of nozzles with a time delay between actuations of said three or more nozzles of the groups.

  • Publication number: 20150246547
Abstract: A printhead recovery system includes at least one printhead and a control module. The printhead includes a respective set of nozzles. The control module activates a nozzle recovery routine including ejecting fluid through nozzles adjacent to a malfunctioning nozzle to create a positive pressure proximate to the malfunctioning nozzle from outside of the at least one printhead.

  • Publication number: 20150210078
Abstract: An example method to reduce hydraulic cross talk within a print head, in which the provision of a cancellation signal to a first actuator, associated with a first nozzle, in accordance with the present disclosure is controlled to at least partially absorb a hydraulic pressure wave from a second nozzle, adjacent to the first nozzle, to reduce interference at the first nozzle, the provision of the cancellation signal being independent of the operation of the second nozzle.
