  • Patent number: 11063690
Abstract: A scheduler and method for scheduling data transmission in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The scheduler buffers data packets in a buffer and monitors status of the buffer. The buffered data packets will remain in the buffer, until the buffer contains a data packet which is associated with a priority level higher than a priority level of a predefined priority threshold. Then, the scheduler selects a modulation and coding scheme for the buffered data packets and sends the buffered data packets to a radio unit for transmission.

  • Patent number: 11039340
Abstract: The present invention relates to a source node, a target node and methods for supporting re-distribution of load from a source cell to a target cell in a wireless network, wherein the target cell is a combined cell comprising a plurality of spatially separated sectors that are configured for downlink and/or uplink communication on a same carrier frequency. Performed in the source node, the method comprises receiving, from the target node, a load report comprising traffic load in one or more of the plurality of spatially separated target sectors comprised in the target cell. Reference signal measurements defining radio conditions for one or more of the target sectors comprised in the target cell are retrieved from one or more wireless devices served by the source node.

  • Publication number: 20190288788
Abstract: A scheduler (400) and method for scheduling data transmission in a wireless communication system (100) are disclosed. The scheduler (400) buffers data packets in a buffer and monitories status of the buffer. The buffered data packets will remain in the buffer, until the buffer contains a data packet which is associated with a priority level higher than a priority level of a predefined priority threshold or when the total amount of data packets in the buffer reaches a predefined Buffer Threshold Set Point. Then the scheduler (400) selects modulation and coding scheme for the buffered data packets and sends the buffered data packets to the radio unit for transmission.

  • Patent number: 9844034
Abstract: Methods and arrangements for mitigating or avoiding inter cell interference on a control channel on which scheduling request are transmitted from UEs to a serving base station. The solution relates to classifying the UEs based e.g. on the type of services applied by the UEs, and allocating resources on the control channel based on the classification.

  • Patent number: 6166568
Abstract: A method and arrangement for generating orthogonal sinusoidal signals in a digital oscillator. The oscillator includes a signal generator which generates a digital sinusoidal signal. The digital sinusoidal signal is fed into a phase shifter which is separate from the signal generator. The phase shifter derives from the digital sinusoidal signal a first pair of digital sinusoidal signals having a phase difference corresponding to at least one sample step. The first pair of digital sinusoidal signals is fed into an orthogonalization unit which produces a pair of orthogonal digital sinusoidal signals by forming linear combinations of the first pair of digital sinusoidal signals.
