    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fuel delivery system and method for preventing and detecting phase separation in fuel storage tanks. Before phase separation occurs, the fuel delivery system may automatically warn a gas station operator to take preventative action. After phase separation occurs, the fuel delivery system may automatically shut down and warn the gas station operator to take corrective action.
