Abstract: This disclosure describes apparatuses and methods related to a rechargeable roller panel system. A rechargeable roller panel assembly may comprise a rechargeable control system that rotates a winding tube to wind and unwind a panel. An end cap is provided at a lateral end of the winding tube. The end cap comprises a magnetic break-away electrical connector exposed from the exterior of the end cap. An internal electrical connector is internally electrically connected to the magnetic break-away electrical connector. A recharge system electrical connector for the rechargeable control system is connected to the internal electrical connector such that the rechargeable control system may be recharged by an external recharging system connected via the magnetic break-away electrical connector. The roller panel system further includes a set of brackets to mount the end cap to a support structure and the roller panel assembly to the end cap.

Abstract: This disclosure describes an apparatus and method of an embodiment of an invention that is an inductive rechargeable roller shade and/or roller screen system 10. This embodiment of the apparatus/system 10 includes a movable panel 20 that can be wound around a winding tube 14 where the movable panel 20 is a roller shade or a roller screen; one or more end cap assemblies 100, 101 that couple to the winding tube 14; a control system 30 that includes a rechargeable battery 230 and motor 250; and one more inductive charging connectors 102 that couple to the control system 30 and the rechargeable battery 230 that inductively couple to one or more inductive recharging sources 32, 40, 50, 802, 910 to provide power to recharge the rechargeable battery 230.

Abstract: A device for inhibiting debris from flowing into a pool skimmer includes: a filtering material which has a shape and size configured to substantially cover an opening to a channel leading to the pool skimmer; a collection material coupled to the filtering material, wherein the collection material is positioned below the filtering material such that debris, inhibited from flowing into the channel by the filtering material, is deposited onto the collection material; and a mounting system for coupling the filtering material to the channel.

Abstract: Improvements in a variable aspect ratio media screen frame are disclosed. The variable aspect ratio media screen frame includes a frame or chassis consisting of a fixed central portion and one or more movable side, top and bottom wings. The movable wing(s) nests inside the center frame. The movable wing(s) nest(s) inside said fixed central portion for a smaller aspect ratio, and at least partially exists outside the fixed central portion for a larger aspect ratio. The variable aspect ratio media screen frame allows the viewing media to deploy from the front of the viewing area, into a storage area encased, out of view, in the movable frame. The current embodiment employs an overlapping “U” shaped roller channel to move the screen from the front to the back of the frame, and springs and tension bars to maintain even tension on the viewing media at all times.
