  • Publication number: 20220134515
Abstract: Adjustable locking pliers includes a lock assembly, a jaw pressure adjustment wheel for adjusting the clamping pressure and a cam plate.

  • Publication number: 20060169705
Abstract: The upper pan portion would be made of steel (preferably stainless) and made of a single piece for the sides and round bottom with caps welded or otherwise attached to form a pan (see enclosed drawings). This eliminates corners on the bottom of the mud pan to facilitate mixing joint compound with a drywall knife. This upper portion is attached to the grip. The grip can be attached mechanically (with screws attaching to tangs on the pan or end caps of the pan) or with adhesive or other means. The shape of the grip allows the user a secure grip on the pan and insulation against a cold (or hot) pan and its contents. The grip can be made of molded or extruded plastic elastomer or other material for improved thermal insulation and frictional grip. A preferred embodiment of the grip has an elevated grip to allow the mud pan to easily be picked up with one hand.

  • Publication number: 20060146684
Abstract: A disc surface protection means comprising of a rim using any of the methods outlined above will significantly reduce the risk of accidentally scratching the disc surface through casual contact with other surfaces. New disc production can include this feature when molded during production with no substantial increase in production costs. Aftermarket bands can be sold to help protect discs already in consumer's possession.

  • Publication number: 20060117570
Abstract: A Utility Knife including a cam clamping lever with opposed forward interlocking lobes that allows the two halves of the utility knife to swivel in a scissor-like motion in one direction for blade change and retrieval. The two halves are held together by the cam clamp tension pin and the cam clamp lever. The rotating motion of the cam clamp lever and tension pins relieve pressure from the two halves of the knife and blade thus allowing sufficient opening clearance for blade change.

  • Publication number: 20050126011
Abstract: The principles of our invention can be applied to both push-saws and pull-saws. More points could, of course, be used. A change in the pitch changes the ratio between forces applied parallel and perpendicular to the stroke direction, and therefore determines how aggressive the saw will behave. For hard stock, a less aggressive behavior is more efficient, decreasing the forces applied perpendicular to the stroke direction. For soft stock, a more aggressive behavior is more efficient, increasing the forces applied perpendicular to the stroke direction and decreasing the number of strokes necessary to cut through a particular piece of stock. Furthermore, the preferred embodiment of our invention allows multiple saw blades to be used with each saw for cutting a variety of materials (wood, metal, plastics, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20050122023
Abstract: An ordinary spark plug having an electrode shaft, a non conductive elastomeric boot, ceramic insulation and a metal chassis. The elastomeric boot around the electrode being heat resistant creates a protective barrier.
