  • Patent number: 6360784
Abstract: A device and method for aseptically filling high pressure reservoirs in medicament pumps is disclosed. The device preferably includes a filter, a connector having a one-way valve and a filling tube with a terminal needle. The filter is connectable to a pharmacy prepared syringe containing a drug to be transferred to the reservoir of the IDIP. The filter is connected to the connector. The connector has a first and a second inlet port fluidly connected to an outlet port. A one-way valve is located in the connector “upstream” of the point where the two inlet ports connect to the outlet port. The filling tube is connectable to the outlet port. In use, a pharmacy syringe is connected to the first inlet port. A filling syringe is connected to the second inlet port. The filling tube is connected to the outlet port. The terminal needle of the filling tube is passed through the patient's skin and into the IDIP.

  • Patent number: 6116256
Abstract: A collapsible sun shade, including: a shade; at least two supports, each support having a first end and a second end, with the second end of each support coupled to the shade at spaced-apart locations thereof; and a connector coupled to the first end of each support; wherein the shade is adapted to assume an unstable equilibrium position in which the supports and the shade are substantially coplanar with the connector, a collapsed position when the shade and supports are on one side of the unstable equilibrium position in which the shade is folded, and a deployed position when the shade and supports are on the other side of the unstable equilibrium position in which the supports and the shade are expanded.

  • Patent number: 5356191
Abstract: A protective cover for the windshield of an automobile. The cover has a pair of flaps that extend from a center cover section. The center cover section has an area that can cover most conventional windshields. The center section is placed over the windshield and the flaps are wrapped around to the side windows of the car. The flaps each have suction cups that secure the cover to the vehicle. The flaps and center section can be folded into a pouch that is secured in the folded position by a zipper that is attached to the center section and a pouch member which extends from the center portion of the sheet.
