  • Patent number: 11920362
Abstract: A holder for a pole of a basketball hoop system includes a pole sleeve for receiving the pole, a tightening system for securing the pole into the pole sleeve in a solidary relationship, and a mounting bracket to secure the pole sleeve to a ground directly or via a stake. The pole holder includes a first mounting element defining a first mounting surface for securing the mounting bracket to the ground in a generally parallel relationship, and a second mounting element that is fixedly mountable to the first mounting element and that defines a second mounting surface for fixedly receiving the pole sleeve in a generally parallel relationship, such that the pole sleeve is offset from the first mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 11920312
Abstract: A docking guide for a boat includes a platform having front and back sides, a first lateral side for mounting to a dock, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. The platform has an opening, located between the first and second lateral sides, for receiving a front of the boat therein. The docking guide further includes at least one anchoring element secured to the platform on the second lateral side, a first deflector mounted to the platform thereabove to be partially in the opening near an intersection of the front and second lateral sides; and a second deflector mounted to the platform thereabove to be partially in the opening near an intersection of the front and first lateral sides. The second deflector is shifted towards the back side relatively to the first deflector so that, when the boat moves within the opening, it is forced in a parallel relationship with the dock by its contact with the first and second deflectors.
