    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods that provide users with efficient and effective user experiences when browsing, selecting, or inspecting content items. More specifically, systems and methods described herein provide users the ability to easily and effectively select multiple content items via a single touch gesture (e.g., swipe gesture). Additionally, systems and methods disclosed herein can allow users to select various content items in a selection interface, preview a content item, and return to the selection interface with the previous selections remaining intact. Still further, systems and methods described herein allow users to transition between a content graphical user interface and a selection interface based on touch gestures with content items. Embodiments of the present invention further provide improved navigability by collapsing views of content items.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for varied depth determination using, stereo vision and phase detection auto focus (PDAF). Computer stereo vision (stereo vision) is used to extract three-dimensional information from digital images. To utilize stereo vison, two optical sensors are displaced horizontally from one another and used to capture images depicting two differing views of a real-world environment from two different vantage points. The relative depth of the objects captured in the images is determined using triangulation by comparing the relative positions of the objects in the two images. For example, the relative positions of matching objects (e.g., features) identified in the captured images are used along with the known orientation of the optical sensors (e.g., distance between the optical sensors, vantage points the optical sensors) to estimate the depth of the objects.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for enabling graceful recovery of network connections in a virtual machine instance that has been migrated or temporarily halted. To prevent the virtual machine instance from attempting to reuse open connections, which might fail due to migration or halting, a host device identifies open connections just prior to halting the virtual machine instance on the host, and transmits to the virtual machine instance termination signals for the open connections. The host device may further transmit termination signals to the other parties to such connections. Each termination signal may be formatted so as to appear to originate from the other party to the connection, causing both parties to synchronize their knowledge of the connection. On reactivation, the virtual machine instance can recovery the connections without errors associated with attempted utilization of broken connections.

Using the drawing instructions, the client applications at the client devices are configured to re-create the drawing annotation on the associated video frame displayed at the client devices. The joint state data communicated to client devices for a given session may include co-presence data that efficiently increases communication among the participants in a session.
