  • Patent number: 11997018
Abstract: Systems, methods, computing platforms, and storage media for administering a distributed edge computing system utilizing an adaptive edge engine based on a finite state machine behavioral model are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: select a first workload from one or more workloads; access, for the selected workload, one or more location optimization strategies from a plurality of location optimization strategies; and optimize an objective function across a portion of the one or more endpoints; select one or more endpoints; deploy the workload on at least one selected endpoint; monitor the health of the endpoint-workload deployment; and direct network traffic to the appropriate endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11936415
Abstract: An air interface plane (AIP) of a radio frequency (RF) aperture includes: a circuit board having a first side and a second side opposite the first side; and a matrix of tapered elements arranged on the first side of the circuit board and secured to the circuit board, the matrix of tapered elements cooperating to at least one of receive or transmit an over-the-air RF signal. Suitably, each tapered element of the matrix has: a central hub extending along a longitudinal axis from a hub base which is proximate to the first side of the circuit board to an apex of the tapered element which is distal from the first side of the first circuit board; and a plurality of arms extending from the central hub at the apex of the tapered element, each of the plurality of arms including a first portion that projects the arm radially away from the longitudinal axis and a second portion that projects the arm longitudinally toward the first side of the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20230291794
Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage media for administering a distributed edge computing system using a computing platform are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: identify a plurality of computing clusters running at least one workload; collect data from the plurality of computing clusters; aggregate the data from the plurality of computing clusters; access a model; reconcile, based at least in part on accessing the model, one or more of the data from the data store and state data for the at least one workload to create reconciled cluster data; receive one or more messages from a user device; and in response to receiving the one or more messages from the user device, provide at least a portion of the reconciled cluster data to the user device.

  • Patent number: 9166936
Abstract: A communications hub receives a messaging job creation request sent over a network connection. The messaging job creation request includes a destinations uniform resource locator (“URL”) plus an inline contents list containing content specifiers, a contents URL plus an inline destinations list containing recipient specifiers, or a destinations URL plus a contents URL. The destinations URL identifies a list of recipient specifiers, each with a delivery address and mode. The contents URL identifies content specifiers for content to be delivered. Some recipient specifiers include merge fields for merging values into message contents. The contents URL itself may include a merge field for merging to obtain a merged contents URL which then identifies a content specifier location. The URLs and the merge fields can appear in various combinations, thereby supporting flexible message customization without hindering bulk messaging.

  • Publication number: 20130024524
Abstract: Various implementations of the present invention are provided as a network computer system configured to allow for creating, rating, tracking, monitoring, and disseminating user-created and user-customizable messages. The network computer system provides a user interface that allows a user to create templates for message creation, messages from the templates, ratings for messages (message “bias”), databases for storing templates and messages (message queue), and ratings, as well as storage for information related to the monitoring and tracking of messages as they are delivered to the intended recipients. The ability to create multiple messages, with disparate content, intended for disparate audiences, with batch sorting and sending, is also provided. Messages can be provided via commercial messaging services such as email, snail mail, telephone, SMS, facsimile, social media networking sites (e.g. Facebook® messages, Twitter® “tweets”, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20060006132
Abstract: By achieving an extruded, foamed core formed from plastic material peripherally surrounded and integrally bonded with a plurality of cooperating synthetic, plastic, extruded, outer layers, a unique, multi-component, multi-layer synthetic closure is provided which may be employed as a bottle closure or stopper for any desired product, whether the product is a liquid, a viscous material, or a solid distributed in a bottle or container and dispensed through the open portal of the container neck. The present invention achieves a mass producible, resilient, synthetic bottle closure which is employable for any desired bottle, including wine. By employing the present invention, a multi-component or multi-layer synthetic closure is attained which possesses physical properties substantially equal to or better than the physical properties found in cork material, which has caused such cork material to be the principal closure material for wine bottles.
