  • Publication number: 20240178988
Abstract: A benchmarking service is engineered to provide computing performance metric benchmarks based on computing performance metrics provided from a variety of providers without being exposed to the underlying computing performance metrics. A homomorphic encryption scheme is used in a threshold cryptography scenario that allows aggregation of the computing performance metrics without decrypting the metrics. An independent decryption service can partially decrypt the benchmark, which can ultimately be decrypted to plaintext for use by the provider. Bitwise operations can be defined to address error problems, and the bitwise operations can be constrained to a smaller bit size to avoid proliferation of gates.

  • Publication number: 20240092026
Abstract: An apparatus for generating a 3D structure is disclosed. A magnetic field generator generates a static magnetic field Bo in a working zone of the apparatus, in which a polymer precursor having at least one paramagnetic substance can be arranged. Gradient coils for generating magnetic gradient fields in all three spatial directions x, y, z, by means of which gradient coils the paramagnetic substance can be spatially encoded in a defined voxel V of the polymer precursor. A radio-frequency field generator is for irradiating RF radiation into the working zone. A control unit is configured to control the RF field generator in such a way that the spatially encoded paramagnetic substance in the voxel V can be excited by means of a field frequency of the RF radiation tuned to the paramagnetic substance in order to trigger the polymerization of the polymer precursor in the defined voxel V.

  • Publication number: 20240068135
Abstract: Interlacing equipment may be used to form fabric and to create a gap in the fabric. The fabric may include one or more conductive strands. An insertion tool may be used to align an electrical component with the conductive strands during interlacing operations. A soldering tool may be used to remove insulation from the conductive strands to expose conductive segments on the conductive strands. The soldering tool may be used to solder the conductive segments to the electrical component. The solder connections may be located in grooves in the electrical component. An encapsulation tool may dispense encapsulation material in the grooves to encapsulate the solder connections. After the electrical component is electrically connected to the conductive strands, the insertion tool may position and release the electrical component in the gap. A component retention tool may temporarily be used to retain the electrical component in the gap as interlacing operations continue.

  • Publication number: 20220178838
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining deformations on an object, wherein the object is illuminated and moved while being illuminated. In the process, the object is observed by means of at least one camera and at least two camera images are generated at different times by said camera. In the camera images, polygonal chains are ascertained in each case for reflections at the object caused by form features. The form features are classified on the basis of the behavior of the polygonal chains over the at least two camera images and a two-dimensional representation is generated, the latter representing a spatial distribution of deformations. Moreover, the invention relates to a corresponding apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6014749
Abstract: The data processing circuit has a self-timed instruction execution unit, which operates asynchronously, signalling the completion of processes and starting subsequent processes in response to such signalling. In order to satisfy real time constraints upon program execution ready signals generated after completion of selected instructions are gated with a timer signal before they are used to start a next instruction. In an embodiment, the amount of time left between the ready signal is used to start a next instruction is measured and used to regulate a power supply voltage of the instruction execution unit so that it is just high enough to make the instruction execution unit sufficiently fast to meet the real time constraints.
