  • Patent number: 8286520
Abstract: A telescopic actuator comprising a cylinder in which a main rod is mounted to slide telescopically along a sliding axis (X) between a retracted position and an extended position. The actuator includes an auxiliary rod mounted to slide in the main rod along the sliding axis between retracted and extended positions. A structure is provided for retaining the auxiliary rod in the retracted position inside the main rod. There also is a brake structure for braking sliding of the auxiliary rod in the main rod in the extension direction. The auxiliary rod has a thread on an outside surface, and the main rod has a rotary bearing that centers the auxiliary rod inside the main rod and co-operates via a reversible helical connection with the thread of the auxiliary rod such that extension of the auxiliary rod causes the rotary bearing to rotate.

  • Publication number: 20100071490
Abstract: The present invention relates to a telescopic actuator comprising a cylinder 1 receiving a main rod 2 to slide along a sliding axis X between a retracted position and an extended position, the actuator further including an auxiliary rod 20 slidable in the main rod 2 between a retracted position and an extended position, and a rotary bearing 102 carried by the main rod 2 or the auxiliary rod 20 and co-operating respectively with the auxiliary rod 20 or the main rod 2 via a reversible helical connection. According to the invention, the actuator includes retaining means 112 for retaining the sliding of the auxiliary rod 20 and comprising a blocking member 116 arranged to act directly on the rotary bearing so as to cause rotation of the rotary bearing 102 to be blocked or to be released, blocking rotation of the rotary bearing 102 preventing the auxiliary rod 20 from moving in the main rod 2.

  • Publication number: 20020000159
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic pump having axial pistons, the pump being of the type having intersecting axes, and comprising a rotary rotor with a central axis co-operating with an associated distribution seat via a bearing surface that is substantially perpendicular to said axis, said rotor presenting a plurality of axial bores slidably receiving corresponding pistons. According to the invention, a driver separate from the rotor is provided to rotate about an axis of rotation that essentially coincides with said central axis, said driver serving firstly to center and rotate the rotor about said axis of rotation, and secondly to apply resilient thrust to press the bearing surface of the rotor against the distribution seat.
