  • Publication number: 20120018510
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for providing to a network of ATMs (10) the ability to transact business in connection with several financial institutions (30, 40) using each financial institution's display interfaces (34, 44), and optionally provides for advertising and promotional materials (32, 42) associated with each financial institution targeted to a specific user. The ATM platform is capable of delivering the same look, feel and functionality of each participating financial institutions through a single ATM, which allows for a financial institution to increase brand recognition, maintain customer loyalty and prevent market share loss.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 7529026
Abstract: An optical system having a radiation transparent member and an anti-reflective embossment embossed into at least one surface of the transparent member. The embossment has spaced structures configured to permit incident radiation to pass through the embossment and the radiation transparent member, and to, at least, attenuate reflection of the incident radiation off the embossment. The structures are maximally spaced from one another by a subwavelength of the incident radiation.

  • Patent number: 7170666
Abstract: An antireflection surface formed using a plurality of nanostructures of a first material on a surface of a second material. The first material is different from the second material. The distribution of spatial periods of the nanostructures is set by a self-assembly operation. The surface of the second material is converted to operate as a graded index surface that is substantially antireflective for the wavelength of interest.

  • Patent number: 6516107
Abstract: An optical switch includes an input member, a reflective output member coupled to the input member, and a transmissive output member. The input member supports a plurality of input waveguides, each input waveguide having a reflective surface and operable to receive a corresponding optical signal. The reflective output member supports a plurality of first output waveguides, each first output waveguide coupled to a corresponding input waveguide. The transmissive output member supports a plurality of second output waveguides and has a first position spaced apart from the input member such that the reflective surface of each input waveguide totally internally reflects a corresponding optical signal to a corresponding one of the first output waveguides, and a second position in proximal contact with the input member such that each second output waveguide frustrates the total internal reflection of a corresponding input waveguide and receives a corresponding optical signal.
