  • Publication number: 20150227625
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for providing indirect interaction between a user and a device using a feed of a social networking system implemented using a database system. For example, a feed item of a feed of the social networking system can be identified as comprising a tag, a data object identifier, and a command. The data object identifier can be processed based on the tag to identify one or more of a plurality of records stored in a database of the database system. A device can be identified as being associated with the identified one or more records. The database system can be configured to communicate with the device. The command can be processed to determine one or more events to be performed in relation to the device.
