  • Patent number: 10523916
Abstract: Implementations relate to modifying images with simulated light sources. In some implementations, a method includes receiving input indicating a location on a 2-D displayed image at which to position a light source element, and adjusting pixel values of the image to cause an illumination effect in the image based on the position of the light source element and based on a direction of illumination of the simulated light source with respect to one or more surfaces depicted in the image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 2018
Date of Patent: December 31, 2019
    Assignee: Google LLC
    Inventors: Nils Kokemohr, Daniel Fenner

  • Publication number: 20050023972
Abstract: A method for screen or rotary screen printing EL lamps comprising front and rear electrodes, a phosphor layer and a dielectric layer. The layers are arranged in a pyramidal shape such that the front electrode has the largest dimensions and the rear electrode has the smallest dimensions. The phosphor layer and dielectric layer have smaller dimensions than the front electrode and the same or different dimensions as each other. The rear electrode has smaller dimensions than the dielectric layer. Preferably, the phosphor layer is screen printed on the front electrode before the front electrode is cured. Preferably, the dielectric comprises an ultraviolet curable solvent-based hybrid ink.
