  • Publication number: 20180015328
Abstract: A new system of detecting, tracking, and logging force of impact data pertaining to independent impacts to a tackling sled or punching bag is described. The system employs at least one impact sensor, a wireless transmitter, a power source, and a companion application. The at least one impact sensor is equipped with at least one accelerometer configured to accurately detect the force of impact to a pad of the tackling sled or punching bag. The companion application communicates wirelessly to the impact sensor, which relays data to a mobile device or computer running the companion application. A leaderboard can be interfaced with the system, enabling competitive use of multiple impact sensors across multiple punching bags simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20150094191
Abstract: A device system designed to quantitatively measure the impact forces experienced by a conventional punching bag when hit by the fist or foot of an individual during a workout. The device is configured to wrap around the punching bag, such that the device bears the impact of each hit. Accelerometers and a sophisticated impact detection system are employed in order to detect the intensity or force of each hit. Additionally, a small on-board computer compares the force of current hits to those of past hits, and determines the level of improvement or regression over time. The on-board computer displays impact and other data on a digital display viewable to the individual performing the workout.

  • Publication number: 20150006655
Abstract: A method and system for the deliberate arrangement of text messages on a conventional digital device is presented. A software application interfaces with the native text messaging application on the digital device, and provides a means for the user to link individual response text messages to individual question text messages within a conversation. The system is designed to prevent miscommunication between two users during conventional message exchanges by correlating or pairing messages such that the correlation continues as responses are sent to a second digital device.
